Abstract: |
In this talk, we focus on the connection between last passage times and mixing times for the TASEP with open boundaries. In particular, we establish that mixing times for the TASEP with open boundaries correspond to coalescence times of geodesics in last passage percolation on a strip. If time permits, we discuss some open questions related to mixing times for interacting particles systems. |
